Writer: joannaedmundsjoannaedmunds

We are delighted to announce that Shakespeare in the Squares, a not-for-profit touring company, will be back this summer to celebrate their eighth anniversary with a new production of The Taming of the Shrew, a battle of wits, wills and wild romance complete with toe-tapping pop classics.

The production will be directed by Toby Gordon.

Tickets are on sale now and you can take advantage of the early bird adult ticket rate until 21st April. Please use the following Eventbrite link https://SITS-shrew-stpeters.eventbrite.co.uk

On the day, please enter the Square via the west gate. Please check in at the box office on arrival even if you access via other gates. The show begins at 7pm, and the Square will be open for you to bring your own picnics and refreshments from 5.30pm onwards.

Please note, seating will be provided but unreserved. There will be a brief interval and the play will finish by 9.30pm. If you plan to picnic, please take away all your rubbish and respect the neighbours as you leave.

Do take advantage of the early bird rate. We hope you will bring friends and family to see what is sure to be an excellent production in our beautiful garden Square.
