Bank holiday BBQ Picnic Party to celebrate the Greek Runner, Monday 4th May

Many of you generously contributed to the restoration of the Greek Runner, completed in the autumn last year. To celebrate this and mark the 100th year anniversary of the statue in the Square we hope you will join us to 'BBQ Picnic in the Square' between noon and 4pm on Monday 4th May, the first May bank holiday long weekend.

There will be a large communal gas BBQ for you to grill your own favourite BBQ food. Bring your cooking implements too and get grilling in the Square!

The flags will be up, there will be a celebratory unveiling of the statue and there will be games for the children, a treasure hunt, souvenir post cards, local history displays and more!

This will be informal affair - you bring your own picnic and drinks, blankets and chairs. Maybe even a table. Definitely bring some extra layers, your own food to BBQ and your own cooking implements too please.

We will not be providing any seating.
